Personal Information
Personal information is any information relating to an individual whose identity has been identified or can be directly or indirectly identified, in particular by identifiers such as name, identification number, location information, network identifier or by one or more physical physical factors , the physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that individual.
Purpose of Collection
As the Head of Processing, the Klub “Hvar Marathon” (address: Ul. Higijeničkog Društva 20, 21450, Hvar; contact: info@hvarmarathon.com) collects personal information for the purpose of improving the quality of content and functionality of web sites, achieving business cooperation, as well as answers to queries posted by visitors. The legal basis for the collection of personal data is set out in Article 6 (1) (b) and (f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation).
Collection and use of personal information
Personal information that visitors enter when submitting or querying is used for future communication regarding the subject matter of the application or query. The submission of personal information is voluntary. If visitors refuse to enter personal information, communication will not be possible.
The data are stored in the hvarmarathon.com database and are stored for a maximum of three years from the completion of the activities related to the subject of communication. In the event that the communication in question results in the conclusion of the contract, the data shall be kept for the entire duration of the contract.
The Hvar Marathon Club will not disclose personally identifiable information to a third party unless it is a legal obligation.

Exercise Rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, a visitor is entitled to request from the Hvar Marathon Club to access and correct or delete personal data. In addition, the visitor has the right to restrict the processing that relates to him, to object to such processing and to the right to transfer the data.
Inquiries regarding the exercise of these rights shall be sent to info@hvarmarathon.com.
If they feel that their rights regarding the protection of personal data have been infringed, visitors may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, especially in the EU Member State where they have their habitual residence, where they have their workplace or the place of the alleged breach.
